James Robbins


James Robbins is another local pro that grew up in the Shoreline area and attended Shorecrest high school. There he played his four years on varsity and earn a scholarship to Washington state university. James also drew the attention of professional scouts and ended up getting drafted to the Detroit Tigers following his senior year of high school in 2009. He then weighed his options and ultimately decided to sign. While with the Tigers James played six season reaching as high as AA. In 2012 he won an Organizational Gold Glove for 1st Base and also won a Single High A Championship that same year. Over his time with the Tigers he hit 61 career home runs and held a .993% fielding percentage over 5 levels.

Since being finished with baseball James has turned his focus on to giving back to the community he grew up in. Working with local and upcoming athletes is something he looks forward to doing. Passing on the knowledge he has accumulated over the years to help build up the players in the area so that they may continue to grow in the right direction of their careers.
