Bat Speed Training (Winter 2024 Lynnwood)
WHAT
A rotational workout program designed to improve the bat speed of high school athletes. This is not a hitting lesson – it is a workout program designed to focus on bat speed and explosion. Athletes will spend 30 minutes using weighted training bats, followed by 30 minutes workout focused on rotational power, quick twitch muscle development, and explosion. Using Rhapsodo or HitTrax we will test the athletes’ initial bat speed and exit velocity and then reassess for improvement at the completion of the 4-week program.
