Jadelyn Allchin
Softball Hitting Coach

Jadelyn Allchin

University of Washington (WA)

Jadelyn Allchin is from Huntington Beach, California where she graduated from Huntington Beach High School and played for OC Batbusters Stith her last 4 years of travel ball. The summer before her freshman year of college she played for the junior USA team in 2019, traveling across the world to Paris, France, and Ireland, then back to California to beat the Japanese team to win a gold medal.

She is currently heading into her senior year at the University of Washington where she is the starting center fielder, hitting power from the left side. She is majoring in Education with a minor in disability studies and is starting an internship with a local preschool where she hopes to learn more about the classroom environment.

Says Allchin, “Overall, after I have completed school, whether it be in the classroom or on the field, maybe even both, I want to be able to give my knowledge to the younger generation and create environments where there are challenges that will be able to improve their skills and strive for personal growth.”

During the winters, he played and coached in Australia. He also played for the Great Britain National Team this past September in the 2019 European Championship. Marketing and Digital Media Director Jody Bossert
Marketing/Digital Media Producer

Jody Bossert

Western Washington University (WA)

Jody began his illustrious baseball career in the Mukilteo Little League, where in 1984 he led the entire league in homeruns with a combined total of one. He built on this success with some memorable years tearing up the diamond at Mariner High School, where coaches and teammates praised his ability to come off the bench with authority. He was later recruited by D1 schools far and wide, but they all apparently lost his mailing address resulting in zero offer letters finding his mailbox.

In 1990, Jody’s baseball career fell on dark times as he ultimately committed to Western Washington University where he was blind-sided with the realization that no baseball program existed.  A club team was offered and Jody joined, however, a freak accident threatened to end Jody’s baseball career forever!  A teammate’s foul ball smashed the back window of his ’86 Dodge Charger, leaving him crushed…mentally.  Seemingly with the world working against him, he made the decision to step away from the game and pursue some of the other temptations that college life had to offer – a decision that proved…well…actually, not too bad.  Jody had a blast in college!  He majored in Communications (Broadcast Production) and produced and directed numerous sports programs, including Viking Hoops Weekly and Viking Football Weekly.  He closed out his college career with an internship with KING 5 TV’s Almost Live!. He was, however, continually haunted by the demons of what could’ve been with his college baseball career.

Following graduation, a light would shine on his baseball career once more.  For the next 15 years, he experienced a resurgence playing in such highly esteemed baseball organizations as the PSSBL, The Seattle NABA, and the City of Redmond Wood Bat League – not to mention various softball leagues along the way.

Shortly after college, Jody crossed paths with a world-class softball pitcher, named Courtney.  It was kismet (whatever that means).   For years they took the co-ed softball field together in perfect harmony and ultimately settled down together in Mill Creek, WA where they welcomed a couple little dudes into this world.  Today they are the stereotypical, annoying sports parents – her in the stands with her cowbell and him on the sidelines, over-inflating stories from his past and relying on outdated philosophies to coach today’s youth.  They have fun though, and that’s what matters.

In 2006, Jody brought his marketing skills to the table and opened Elle Marie Hair Studio with his hairstylist sister and their mother.  Over the next decade, the salon grew to four locations and is proud to be a multi-year Best of Western Washington winner.  Jody doesn’t have a lot of hair however, and longed to put his talents to work on something he was a little more passionate about.  In the summer of 2017, he crossed paths with Brent Lillibridge as he was knee-deep opening the BASE by Pros Academy.  Jody shared his passion for marketing, digital media production and baseball and a new endeavor was born.

As a proud card-carrying member of the Dad Coach Society, Jody has spent time with the following organizations during his boys’ youth:

In 2022 Jody’s D1 Baseball offer finally arrived (32 years late) as he was heavily recruited by the University of Washington.  He accepted their offer, but ultimately saw very little playing time during the 2022 season.  None actually.  He did gain valuable experience as the Sports Information Director however, scoring games, writing game stories, and driving social media for the team.
